저는 15기 오진이 학우와 다른 GLE 학우들과 함께 ' 함께 운동할래요? ' 라는 커뮤니티를 수행했습니다.


바쁜 일상에 잠시 짬을 내서 운동하는 것은 정말 좋은 것 같습니다.


또 이번 활동을 통해서 한가지 생각이 바뀐것이 있다면 피곤하다고 집에서 누워서 쉬는 것 보다 짧은 시간이라도 운동을 하는 것이 피로를 푸는데 훨씬 효과적이라는 것을 알게 되었습니다.

나의 인생의 멘토에게...

고모 잘 지내고 계시죠? - 찬우  


안녕하세요? 고모. 잘지내고 계시죠?

메일을 쓰는 건 정말 오랜만이네요.

요즘 일하시는 건 어때요? 여전히 바쁘세요?

 저도 요즘 학교에서 부회장, 세미나 팀장, 그리고 개인적인 공부까지 정말 정말 바쁜 삶을 살아가고 있어요.

 고모 근데 궁금한게 있는데 이제 저도 취업을 열심히 준비해야 될 때라서 저에 대해서 많이 생각해 보고 또 많은 공부도 해보려고 하거든요?

제가 생각하기에 제 장점은

첫번째로 남들을 재미있게 잘 이끌수 있는것 같아요. 이번에 부회장이랑 세미나 팀장하면서 느끼게 되더라구요.

그래서 영어를 가르치는 사람이나 또는 여행사에 취직해서 가이드 또는 여행 상품기획을 하면 어떨까라는 생각을 가졌었었어요.

그런데 저번에 고모가 말씀해주신것처럼 여행가이드는 장기적으로 비전이 없고 등 고민과 걱정이 또 생기네요.

당연한거겠죠?

요즘 책도 많이 읽어보려고 하고 내가 어떤 직종에서 일하고 싶은지 찾아보려고 하고 그러는데 오히려 생각만 많아지고 명확한 답은 안나오네요.

제가 지금 가장 우선적으로 해야되는건 지금 학교에서 배우고 있는 공부와 작은 목표를 세워서 이뤄나가는게 맞나요?

아니면 나에 대해서 정확히 파악하고 내가 원하는 직업을 딱 정하고 거기에 최선을 다하는게 맞나요?

많이 생각하다가 제가 영국에 있을때 고모가 해준 조언이 너무 너무 저를 많이 변화시켜서 다시 한번 여쭤보자는 생각을 했어요.

그럼 일하실때 항상 건강 챙기시고 제가 짬짬히 연락할게요 ㅎㅎ

저번에 카톡했는데 답장이 없어서 상처받았어요 ㅠ

빨리 한국오셔서 술 한잔 하면서 이런저런 얘기하고 싶네요.

I saw the video that Jeff recorded in the class. And I found some mistakes so I rewrote.

My SHELF project - Sketch Comedy

I saw the comedy show that about the words; similar pronunciation and different meaning.


It was really funny. For example, a man who came from Asia was looking for the beautiful beach and he was not good English speaker.


When he found a American who was sitting on the stairs, he asked to American where was the beautiful beach around here and how he could go there.


 In this scene, as you know, beach and bitch are really similar to pronuciate to Asian people but meaning can be totally different.


I mean that Asian wanted to say " Where is the beautiful beach?".


On the contrary, American can understand that sentence " Where is the beautiful bitch?"


This will be funny and also, we can learn how to pronounce those words exactly.


So I want to make sketch comedy show like this that kill two birds with one stone; Funny and Learning.

두번째 측정 (금연 2주차) Stop smoking - Second week

금연 2주차 보건소 클리닉에서 니코틴 수치 측정을 했다.

한개피도 피지 않았다는 증거인 0 수치가 나왔다.

금연이라는 목표에 한발 더 다가선 것 같은 기분으로 뿌듯했다.

Seond week, stop smoking, I checked nicotine rates in my body. As you can see, 0 point, I steped one more foot toward my goal. I felt proud of myself.

두번째 노트필기(The second note in a class)

두번째 노트필기는 조금 창의적으로 해보았다.

항상 글씨가 많으면 나는 집중이 잘 안되서 최대한 작은 내용에 집중을 할 수 있도록 편집해 필기를 해보았다.

This is my second note that I wrote what I thought important in the Web-project class.

I was always thinking why I couldn't concentrate on the content when there were a lot of letters in the book.

So I figured it out with locating. 

목표 실현을 위해!! (For my health)

나의 목표: 금연을 성공하기 위해 보건소에서 운영하는 금연 도우미 프로그램에 참가했다.

그리고 금연과 관련된 보조용품(껌, 손지압봉, 전자담배, 책자)를 이용해 금연 7일째를 성공리에 보내고 있다.

This semester, I set a goal that stopping smoking. For this, I participated nonsmoking program which run by public health care center. At there, they gave me some stuff for helping nonsomking ; gum, electronic cigarettes, brochure etc. With these things, now, I am living my happy life without cigarette. Wish me luck :)

A: They say that I'm a hard-working person because I always do my best whether it is important or not.

The pic that I care the most.

This picture took when I was traveling Europe is the one that I care the most.

The gorgeous woman who is next to me is my friend. I met her during traveling. She's name is Rosie.

She is 21 years old, comes from Australia. I traveled 9 contries; Sitzerland, England, Italy, etc.

It was really precious memory for me because firstly, it was my first time abroad and secondly, I met cool friend. We spent a lot of time visiting tourist attractions, eating so delicious food and drinking. You know, party.

I don't think I will forget this memory ever in my life. I have kept in touch with her until I lost her Facebook Id actually, it was just last month. I feel so bad about this.

I think that she might can't see this blog but I really would like to say " I miss you Rosie "

BRITISH V.S. AMERICAN ACCENTS!

This is a video comparing pronunciation between American English and British English.

The woman who is left side comes from England and the one who is right side is American. And they are reading words and comparing.

It was really interesting for me because when I learned English first, I spoke British English and it was because there were many people who came from England and Australia. Especially, my aunt who came from England taught me English.

So for me, it was natural to speak British English.

Through this video, we can learn how different British accent and America accent.

Moreover, we have to know that both of English are right and need to discuss about that they are more differncies except intonation and accent.

Worry. - March 8, 2015(English Diary)

A day before yesterday, there was a meeting attending the students whose major is Latin America and professors. The meeting was for getting to know one another and for electing seminar team leader. I am a vice president of student council. Therefore, before starting the meeting, I was thinking that I couldn’t be the one of candidates. There were many reasons. Firstly, I had been so busy actually I was really tired. Second one was that I didn’t know about the seminar. The most crucial reason was that I have been preparing exchange student to America. So I had no idea whether I will be in Korea or not. Moreover, I take 24 credits this semester. It means that I don’t have much time to do something. For these reasons, I didn’t want to be the leader of seminar. Unfortunately, however, it was me elected the leader. Until now, I keep thinking that I don’t think I can do these a lot of works at this short semester. I worry about all the things. How can I get through hard time like this?

MY GOAL IN THIS SEMESTER!

In this semester, my goal is to get 85 points in TOEFL test.

And this is my portfolio that shows the specific way to achieve my goal.
